Materials Transportation Service (MTS) of JAARS provides trucking
services for Wycliffe Bible Translators, as well as many other
evangelical mission organizations. Drivers, mechanics, and
warehouse personnel promote the goals of Bible translation by
speeding missionaries to the field with inexpensive
transportation of supplies, equipment,
and household goods.
These shipments can include domestic, overseas-bound, and imported cargo within the continental US, Alaska, and Canada. MTS works to keep costs as low as possible for each missionary. Combining export shipments with those of other mission organizations can provide significant savings. Last year, JAARS moved nearly 1,000 shipments. JAARS is licensed by the Interstate Commerce Commission to move only missionaries and mission organizations’ goods. |

| None of the office staff, mechanics, warehousemen, or drivers are paid. All trips are planned when there is enough cargo to justify the cost of the trip. Truly, God prompts the hearts of missionaries to call in their need—in God’s timing—trip after trip! | ||
