Problem-solving skills along with things such as resolving conflicts, handling change, and good communications are skills that parents desire to develop in their child/children. Children are making many adjustments as they move. This segment will assist you in helping to develop the skill of problem-solving which will help them to feel more confident.
Some of the basic objectives and concepts in the following lessons have been drawn from ideas presented in New Kid in School: Using Literature to Help Children in Transition by Debra Rader and Linda Harris Sittig.
