Mobility: Lesson 3

Keep it REAL: Repair

The Importance of "Repair"

Friendships do not stay the same – sometimes we can be best ‘buddies’ with someone, then something happens and we don’t talk to them anymore, or just lose contact. When we are leaving a country (to go overseas or to leave to go back to our passport country) – it is good to make sure that we don’t leave before we have dealt with any differences or bad feelings there are with people. It will help to repair those friendships that are broken – maybe not even broken in a big way, but something is just not right. It is good to get to where both of you can be comfortable with each other.

Help your child fill out the following worksheet: ICC for Children REAL Repair Worksheet

The aim is to help children decide to whom they need to talk, to repair any broken friendships.
