The purpose of the trip is to provide meaningful care, instruction, and recreation for the children of missionary families who are gathering for a time of networking, skills building, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.

Bogota’s October daily high temperatures are around 65°F, with daily low temperatures around 47°F. Rain is very likely.

Childhood Immunizations: MMR (measles-mumps-rubella; series of 2), DTP (diptheria-tetanus-pertussis; series of 5), varicella (chickenpox; series of 2), polio (series of 4)
Tetanus booster within the past 10 years
Annual Flu Vaccine (influenza)
Shingrix for shingles (if over 50 years old)
Hepatitus A (series of 2) & B (series of 3)
Typhoid
Rabies
COVID (Full vaccine series of 2 if Pfizer or Moderna plus booster recommended for all travelers 16 years of age or older

Covid Updates

For entry, you need to have proof of covid vaccination, or a negative covid test. This is not currently planned as a masking event; however, mask may be required on some flights.
