YOU ENCOURAGE CHRISTIANS TO KEEP GOING

For six years, Bible translators, literacy workers, and Scripture workers have persevered through challenges to reach the people in Mbouda, Cameroon, with the gospel. God recently provided an opportunity, through gifts from people like you, for JAARS-trained staff to provide motorcycle training to ten of these missionaries and encourage them to continue their work.

In an area dominated by long distances and rough roads, motorcycles can get these missionaries to people they wouldn’t normally be able to reach.

Emmanuel Tambakui, a literacy supervisor and pastor, said, “I wished I had a training program like this ten years ago! Then, the lifespan of my motorcycle would have been increased by at least five years.”

The week after the motorcycle training, several pastors, including Emmanuel, were making their way to a lake. On the way, a pastor’s bike broke down, and there was nowhere nearby to get it fixed. Fortunately, Emmanuel had brought along his tool bag from the training. Soon he figured out the cause of the trouble, bought a new part in town, and put the bike back together. Then they continued on their trip. The pastors were thankful for Emmanuel’s skills and requested that he teach them all he had learned.

Thank you for partnering with us in covering the last mile to the unreached!
