Our outreach opportunities change from year to year. Here are some examples of programs we’ve offered in the past:
A week of giving back to our local community. Typically taking place in the mornings during Spring Break, this service event is open to both middle and high school students.
A weekend of serving the Lord in the local community. The goal is to expose high school students to local ministries and empower them to get involved regularly on their own.
High school students spend a winter evening sorting Operation Christmas Child boxes at a local Samaritan’s Purse facility.
Typically taking place during the summer, a team of high schoolers will train for the trip, learn about mission opportunities, explore the culture of the area, fundraise together, and grow together, before spending a week of service in a different culture. The purpose is to provide high school students that are considering possible missions ministry with the opportunity to experience a variety of ministries, as well as the experiences of applying, writing letters for prayer and financial support, and fundraising.
