Get Involved

Do you want to help us invest in the next generation?

Regardless of if you would be a parent volunteering at a single holiday party, a community member leading a long-term bible study, or anything in between, all potential volunteers and team members will need to follow the steps below to become involved with the JAARS Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

All applications must be processed through the JAARS People Applicant Portal. You can find to the portal by selecting the button at the bottom of this page, or by returning to the JAARS Homepage (JAARS.org), selecting “Serve” under “Get Involved” in the navigation menu, scrolling to the column that says “Volunteer,” and clicking the button below that says “Browse Job Descriptions.”

Volunteer

The Youth and Family Ministry Department needs multiple adult volunteers investing in the lives of our MKs (Missionary Kids) at meetings, events, trips, and more.

All adults who wish to volunteer with the Youth Ministry, including parents, must apply through the “Youth and Young Adult Volunteer” listing in the JAARS People Applicant Portal.

TIP: If the list is sorted alphabetically by “Vacancy Name,” this position is most likely located on the very last page. You can also find this listing by typing the title into the search bar above the table on the “Current Vacancies” page.

Join Our Team

The Youth and Family Ministry Department also needs several full or part-time team members to come alongside us in mentoring the next generation of MKs (Missionary Kids).

To see our current vacancies, navigate to the JAARS People Applicant Portal and browse for jobs listed under the “TCK Care and Education” Department.

TIP: While you can’t use the search bar to filter listings by department, you can cluster our openings together by selecting the “Department” category at the top of the table, which sorts the positions alphabetically by department.

When you find a listing you’d like to apply for, select the name on the left to visit a page with details about the position and its requirements.
Finally, click the blue “Apply” button at the bottom of the page when you’re ready to begin the application process.
