Program Content

ICC participants learn about other worldviews and cultures through a Christ-centered perspective. During the course, they grow cross-culturally and receive support in language learning.

Spiritual Vitality

Having an unshakeable relationship with Christ is vital to missions. We encourage deepening spiritual vitality by focusing on topics such as:

  • Identity in Christ
  • Unity
  • Authority of Scripture
  • Forgiveness
  • Distinguish between biblical absolutes and cultural applications
Worldview and Cultural Acquisition

Broaden your understanding of worldviews and cultures:

  • Explore worldviews and core cultural values
  • Distinguish between biblical absolutes and cultural applications
Multicultural and Multigenerational Teams

Increase your multicultural and multigenerational team skills: 

  • Study and practice biblical conflict resolution, impact awareness and crisis management
  • Gain experience in team dynamics
  • Receive coaching to understand your strengths and how to best contribute to a team
Language

We offer two language tracks to accommodate a variety of needs and future roles:

  • Language Acquisition teaches practical language learning methods such as Total Physical Response
  • Language Partnerships focuses on methods, team dynamics, cultural protocols, case studies and partnering principles

Course fees will be billed by ICC and collected on or before the first day of class.

Babies 3 months and younger can attend with parents. Programs are available for children 3 months and older. Children’s programs and housing are separate costs from the course fee. Coaching and Recommendations

Receive preparation for serving in multicultural, multigenerational organizations through:

  • Individualized coaching
  • A final written report with observations of attributes as well as recommendations for ongoing growth
  • Feedback given to you and relevant administrators
